Job Description:
- Plan and deliverandnbsp;engaging, practical lessonsandnbsp;across the DT curriculum, includingandnbsp;Product Design,andnbsp;Resistant Materials, andandnbsp;Graphics
- Foster aandnbsp;safe, inclusive, and stimulating workshop environmentandnbsp;that encouragesandnbsp;creativity,andnbsp;critical thinking, andandnbsp;technical skills
- Use a range ofandnbsp;assessment strategiesandnbsp;to monitor progress and inform planning
- Contribute to the development of the DT curriculum and participate inandnbsp;cross-curricular projects
- Support students inandnbsp;GCSE courseworkandnbsp;andandnbsp;extra-curricular clubsandnbsp;
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have experience teachingandnbsp;Design and Technologyandnbsp;at secondary level (desirable but not essential)
- Be aandnbsp;passionate subject specialistandnbsp;with strong knowledge ofandnbsp;health and safety,andnbsp;CAD/CAM, andandnbsp;modern manufacturing techniques
- Demonstrate excellentandnbsp;classroom management,andnbsp;organisation, andandnbsp;communicationandnbsp;skills
- Be committed toandnbsp;inclusive education,andnbsp;student wellbeing, andandnbsp;safeguarding
- Be enthusiastic aboutandnbsp;continuous professional developmentandnbsp;andandnbsp;team collaboration
