About the Role:


  • Create engaging and creative lessons in Product Design and Engineering for KS3 to KS5.
  • Plan, assess, and tailor lessons to suit all learnersandrsquo; needs.
  • Promote problem-solving, design thinking, and hands-on skills in a safe, well-resourced space.
  • Support the schoolandrsquo;s commitment to high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Inspire students to appreciate the real-world impact and responsibilities of product design and wood tech



The ideal candidate will:


  • Qualified teacher with QTS/PGCE or an equivalent international certification
  • Specialist knowledge of the KS3andndash;KS5 Design Technology curriculum, focusing on Product Design and Wood Tech
  • Reflective educator skilled in classroom management and student assessment
  • Holds a current DBS certificate on the update service or willing to apply for one
  • Able to provide two professional references from the last two years
