DandT and Food Technology Teacher

About the RoleWe are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Design and Technology Teacher with a strong background in Food Technology / Food Science to join a supportive secondary school in Norfolk. This 3-day-a-week position offers the chance to inspire students, deliver engaging practical and theory lessons, and contribute to a thriving DandT department.Key ResponsibilitiesTeach high-quality Food Technology lessons at KS3-KS4, ensuring strong progress for all learners.Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with curriculum standards.Maintain a safe, organised, and hygienic Food Technology environment.Support curriculum development and contribute to wider DandT activities.Provide constructive feedback and support to students of all abilities.Work collaboratively with staff and engage in CPD opportunities.Promote creativity, independence, and a passion for food, nutrition, and healthy lifestyles.RequirementsQualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.Strong subject expertise in Food Technology, Food Science, or Nutrition (essential).Experience teaching Food Technology at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable).Ability to cover additional DandT areas is advantageous.Knowledge of safeguarding, behaviour management, and curriculum requirements.Strong communication and organisational skills.Additional OpportunitiesIf you are seeking full-time work, we can offer additional supply bookings across Norfolk to supplement this role.Why Work With Us?Working with our ..... full job details .....
