Salary: £29,344 – £44,919

A vibrant and forward-thinking secondary school in Milton Keynes is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Dance Teacher to join their creative arts department from Easter 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students through movement and performance in a supportive and dynamic school environment. The position is offered on a temp-to-perm basis, providing a pathway to a permanent role.

The Role
Deliver high-quality Dance lessons across KS3 and KS4, encouraging creativity and expression.

Plan and adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners, supporting both practical and theoretical development.

Choreograph and prepare students for performances, showcases, and school events.

Monitor and assess student progress, offering constructive feedback to support development.

Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment where students feel confident to participate and perform.

Contribute to extracurricular activities, including clubs, productions, and enrichment programmes.

The Ideal Candidate
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience in Dance.

Strong subject knowledge and a passion for performing arts.

Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities.

Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.

A commitment to fostering creativity and confidence in young people.

Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
