Qualified Dance Teacher
Location: Rochdale
Start Date: Immediate
Pay: -160 - -200 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time, long-term Monday to Friday 8:30am to 3pm with potential to become permanent.
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Dance Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Rochdale. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated teacher to inspire students and deliver engaging lessons in Dance, with a focus on the Pearson BTEC Performing Arts (Dance) Specification.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality Dance lessons across KS3-KS5.
Teach and assess to the Pearson BTEC Performing Arts Dance curriculum.
Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
Contribute to the wider performing arts department and school community.
Maintain high standards of teaching, learning, and behaviour management.
Requirements:
A recognised Dance qualification.
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential.
Proven experience teaching Dance within a secondary school, specifically delivering the Pearson BTEC Performing Arts Dance Specification.
A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
