We are partnering with an Outstanding girls'' school in Haringey that is seeking a fantastic temporary, part-time D&T Food Technology Teacher to join their thriving department, starting ASAP. This is a brilliant opportunity to foster healthy eating habits, practical cooking skills, and an understanding of food science in students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with exciting potential for Key Stage 5.

What you''ll be doing:

• You''ll be designing and delivering engaging Food Technology lessons, covering aspects from nutrition and diet to food preparation and cooking techniques.
• It''s about fostering practical skills, encouraging creativity in recipe adaptation, and developing students'' understanding of food hygiene and safety.
• You''ll maintain a safe and inspiring kitchen environment and contribute to innovative food-related projects.

What we''re looking for:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialism in Food Technology or a related D&T field.
• Experience teaching engaging and effective Food Technology lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4 is highly desirable.
• Strong practical cooking skills and a deep understanding of food science and nutrition.
• Excellent communication skills, strong classroom and kitchen management, and a genuine passion for food education.
