Surveyor - Damp, Mould and Condensation Location: North Somerset/Bristol Contract Type: Permanent, hybrid working (home-based with site visits) Salary: Up to £49,466 Hours: 37Overview: This is a full-time surveying and project management role focused on delivering damp, mould and condensation works across social housing stock.You will be responsible for managing cases from initial inspection through to completion, including diagnosis, specification writing, contractor management and customer liaison. The role involves working closely with residents, leaseholders and internal teams to ensure issues are resolved efficiently and to a high standard.You will manage your own portfolio of cases, including complex and high-risk HHSRS-related works, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and in line with compliance and quality standards.Key Responsibilities: Manage damp, mould and condensation cases from initial survey through to completion. Inspect properties, diagnose building defects and carry out relevant testing and building pathology assessments. Produce detailed reports and technical specifications, including for disrepair claims and Section 20 works. Oversee delivery of works, including contractor management, pre-start meetings and on-site quality inspections. Monitor performance of contractors and in-house teams, ensuring works meet required standards and KPIs.
