Damp and Mould SurveyorLocation - StaffordshireHybrid working availablePermanent positionHours (per week) - 39Salary - (phone number removed) per annumSellick Partnership Ltd are supporting a housing association with the recruitment of an experienced Damp and Mould Surveyor to join their team and help ensure all customers live in a safe, healthy and well-maintained homes.You''ll be responsible for carrying out inspections across the housing stock, identifying the causes of damp, mould and condensation, and specifying effective remedial works. You''ll work closely with customers, contractors and colleagues to make sure issues are resolved quickly, safely and to a high standard.You''ll also play an important role in ensuring they meet the regulatory and legal responsibilities, including Awaab''s Law, HHSRS and relevant housing standards.Duties of the Damp and Mould SurveyorCarry out detailed damp, mould and condensation inspections, identifying root causes and appropriate solutions.Diagnose defects and produce clear specifications and schedules of work, using M3/NHF rates where appropriate.Oversee contractors and monitor works to ensure they are completed safely, on time, to the required standard and within budget.Carry out pre, during and post-work inspections to ensure remedial works have been completed effectively.Ensure damp and mould cases are managed in line with Awaab''s Law, HHSRS, legislation and Ombudsman recommendations.Keep customers informed and involved ..... full job details .....
