Damp and Mould Surveyor

We are currently working in partnership with Multiple Housing Associations based in Greater Manchester and surrounding areas, who are recruiting for damp and mould surveyors on a temporary contract. These positions are due to start immediately, with the potential to be extended. The hourly rate of pay is negotiable up to £35 via an Umbrella company. The ideal candidate will experience in damp and mould surveying and have a full UK driving licence. Duties will include (but are not limited to): Carrying out up to ten surveys per day relating to day-to-day maintenance and responsive repairs Completing surveys in line with Awaab''s Law Phase one and two and HHSRS Creating specifications of work for internal operatives and contractors Carrying out pre and post inspections on the work of operatives Diagnosing root causes of various types of damp and mould Creating specifications of work and raising SORs on internal systems Experience required: Experience required Awaab''s Law Experience in identifying root causes of various types of damp and mould Experience in damp and mould surveying within domestic properties Skills, knowledge and expertise required: A strong understanding of damp and mould Compliance and understanding of Awaab''s Law Access to a vehicle and a full UK driving licence Rewards and Benefits: Flexible working days Working hours: 37 hours per week Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.
