Damp and Mould SurveyorFreelance Opportunity Long TermImmediate StartWe are currently working with a local authority based in the HA and WD postal areas who are looking for an experienced Damp and Mould Surveyor to join their property services team.Our client manages over 8,000 properties, delivering reactive repairs, void refurbishments and planned maintenance. They are looking for an experienced surveyor with extensive knowledge of diagnosing and managing damp, mould and condensation issues within occupied and void residential properties, with a strong understanding of Awaab''s Law and current social housing compliance requirements.Responsibilities: Carry out damp, mould and condensation surveys to occupied and void properties.Diagnose the root cause of damp and mould issues and produce detailed specifications for remedial works.Identify associated building defects and recommend appropriate repair solutions.Ensure cases are managed in line with Awaab''s Law, regulatory requirements and internal service standards.Prioritise high-risk cases, ensuring timely inspections and remedial works where tenant health and safety may be impacted.Monitor and coordinate contractors on site to ensure works are completed to the required standard and within agreed timescales.Ensure specifications are correctly adhered to and works are completed in line with current guidance and best practice.Keep administration systems, databases and relevant teams updated.Utilise NHF Schedule of Rates (SOR) ..... full job details .....
