Damp & Mould Surveyor – South Essex 

Rate: £400/day 
Contract: 6 months 

My client in South Essex is looking for 2x experienced Damp & Mould Surveyors to assess housing stock You’ll respond to resident callouts, inspect properties, and recommend remedial actions to tackle damp and mould issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect homes for damp, mould, and condensation.
• Respond to resident reports and complaints.
• Produce clear reports and action plans.
• Liaise with contractors and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with housing standards.

Ideal Candidate

• Experience in damp/mould surveying
• HNC/ HND qualified (minimum)/  degree in building surveying/ AssocRICS/ ACABE
• Strong knowledge of building pathology.
• Familiarity with HHSRS and disrepair legislation
• Sound understanding of Awaab's Law
