Fraser Edwards Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading social housing organisation, seeking a dedicated professional to join a dynamic team on a damp and mould contract role, commencing immediately.
As a Damp and Mould Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in improving living conditions for residents by conducting thorough pre and post inspections of damp and mould in social housing properties. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring that maintenance repairs and planned works are carried out efficiently in both occupied and void properties. You will be responsible for identifying underlying issues, recommending appropriate remedial actions, and ensuring that all repairs meet the highest quality standards.

You will have the opportunity to apply your technical skills and knowledge to deliver detailed and comprehensive reports to internal teams and contractors, ensuring that all necessary actions are taken promptly and effectively. Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting detailed pre and post inspections for damp and mould in social housing.
- Performing thorough maintenance repairs and planned works surveys in occupied and void properties.
- Delivering comprehensive technical reports with actionable recommendations to internal teams and contractors.
- Liaising with management, support staff, and external contractors throughout the surveying process.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant Health and Safety regulations and standards.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Must have CSSW or CSDB or CSTDB qualifications.
- Proven experience in dealing with damp and mould issues within housing or commercial properties.
- In-depth knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
- Extensive understanding of building maintenance, diagnostic techniques, and remedial solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
