Damp and Mould Technician Response RepairsLocation: North West London Rate: £22.52 per hour CIS Contract: Temporary 6 8 weeks'' work Hours: Full-Time Sector: Social HousingBuild Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Damp and Mould Operative to join a social housing maintenance team, carrying out damp and mould remedial works across North West London.This is a great opportunity for an experienced operative looking for immediate, ongoing work for approximately 6 8 weeks, working across occupied residential properties.The RoleAs a Damp and Mould Operative, you will be responsible for identifying, treating and remediating damp and mould issues within social housing properties.Key ResponsibilitiesCarrying out inspections to identify causes of damp and mould, including condensation, penetrating damp and leaks.Undertaking damp and mould treatment works within occupied social housing properties.Cleaning and treating mould-affected areas.Applying mould washes, anti-mould treatments and stain-blocking paint systems.Carrying out damp-proofing and remedial works where required.Hacking off damaged plaster and preparing surfaces for remedial works.Carrying out making-good works, including patch plastering, painting and decorating.Installing ventilation solutions and carrying out minor remedial repairs.Working within occupied properties while minimising disruption to tenants.Providing clear advice to residents regarding damp, mould, condensation and prevention.Using PDA ..... full job details .....
