Job Description:
Are you a qualified teacher living on the Isle of Sheppey, or able to travel there for daily supply work£

Supply Desk are currently working with a number of primary schools across the Isle of Sheppey and they are looking for reliable, experienced, and adaptable teachers to help meet their regular supply needs. If you have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching primary-aged children with excellent classroom management skills, we want to hear from you!

We are looking for teachers who can cover a variety of roles across all primary key stages, including PPA cover, sickness, and training days. Whether you are a retired teacher looking for flexible opportunities or someone seeking teaching without the extra responsibility, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons across all primary key stages.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual students.
• Inspire and motivate students to develop their knowledge and skills.
• Use hands-on activities and real-world applications to enhance learning.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively.
• Collaborate with school staff and communicate with parents/carers.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven teaching experience with a strong understanding of the UK primary curriculum or equivalent experience abroad.
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual students.
• Flexibility to work in various school settings on the Isle of Sheppey.
