To help us achieve those we’re seeking an experienced Cyber Security Engineer to help deliver transformational change within our Cyber Security Programme. You’ll be working within what is a fast-paced environment, where you’ll work on various projects that deliver technical and business change across our Cyber Security Programme.What you’ll be doingWorking on a range of Projects that deliver business and technical change within our Cyber Security programme.Working on projects end to end from discovery and requirements gathering through to implementation.Providing support and coaching to Business Analysts you are working with.Working proactively and collaboratively with those around you, ensuring you provide estimates for your tasks, input in to planning, timely progress updates, and input into Project risks and issues.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, solve problems, and implement innovative solutions.We need you to haveAPI Integration and Automation: Strong experience in pulling data from RESTful APIs, handling authentication (OAuth, API keys), and automating data pipelines.Data Engineering and ETL: Proficiency in transforming, cleaning, and merging datasets from multiple sources.Security Tooling Familiarity: Understanding of common security platforms (e.g., SIEMs, vulnerability scanners, identity platforms) and their data outputs.Power BI Expertise: Ability to design and maintain dynamic dashboards.Cloud and Storage Knowledge: Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred), including secure storage and access to data (e.g., Blob Storage, Key Vault).Data Governance and Security: Awareness of data sensitivity, encryption, access controls, and compliance requirements in a security context.Collaboration and Documentation: Clear communication skills to work with security teams and document data flows, schemas, and dashboard logic.Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with IaC tools (especially for provisioning and managing Azure resources used in data workflows).First class inter-personal skills, coupled with strong influencing abilities and a can-do attitude to keep focussed and be highly organised as you manage your own workload to deliver the right business outcome.Experience / exposure to Cyber Security Risks, Tools and ProcessesSuccessful implementation of Cyber Security Metrics and Reporting using automation and pipeline tools. ..... full job details .....
