Cyber Security Consultant - Preston, London or Birmingham, UK Up to £570 per day, Inside IR35 Hybrid working, 1 to 2 days per week onsite Must hold active SC clearance ABOUT THE CLIENT Our client is delivering a major programme within the UK Defence sector, operating across a complex multi-supplier environment. They are looking for an experienced Cyber Security Consultant to support the onboarding and integration of new service providers into an established security operating model. THE BENEFITS Up to £570 per day Hybrid working, typically 1 to 2 days onsite per week Long-term Defence transformation programme Exposure to complex SIAM and multi-supplier environments Opportunity to work across security governance, assurance and service transition THE CYBER SECURITY CONSULTANT ROLE As Cyber Security Consultant, you will support the alignment and onboarding of suppliers into an established security and SIAM environment. You will develop structured onboarding packs, translate existing security processes into supplier guidance and ensure incoming providers understand their security, governance, reporting and assurance obligations. You will work closely with Security Assurance, Incident Management, Vulnerability Management and Service Management teams to identify gaps, coordinate supplier readiness and ensure processes are consistently adopted.
