Cyber Security ConsultantGreater ManchesterPermanentUp to 46,500Hybrid: 50% in office, 35 hours per weekOn behalf of our non-for-profit sector client, I''m on the lookout for a Cyber Security Consultant with some experience in a cyber role looking to expand on their skill set across multiple cyber and infosec domains.With the support of the Cyber Security Manager and other security team members, this role will touch on IAM, SIEM, EDR and vulnerability management tool tweaking, integrating security into project life cycles, GRC certifications, 3rd party risk and assurance and more. I''m looking for candidates with a self-driven, go-getter personality who are keen to progress their security careers within a supportive and forward-thinking environment with colleagues all pulling in the same direction. What this role involves:This role is expansive in terms of the areas you''ll be getting involved with. We are not expecting candidates to be experts across all of these fields, however, the more the better: Review, develop, monitor and mature the SIEM, EDR, email security and vulnerability platformsSupport ongoing development and monitoring of IDS/IPS, detection and response solutions and other threat detection systems.Working with in-house developers and providing some advice on SDLC securityPerforming vulnerability scanning and remediationWorking with the organisation''s managed service provider and helping to manage alerts coming throughWorking with governance colleagues on the ..... full job details .....
