2 x Cyber Security Architect Initial 6 Month Contracts2 days per week on site Glasgow, Portsmouth, Bristol or Frimley (you can choose which site) 88.41 Per Hour (Umbrella - Inside IR35) The Role Recommending security controls and solutions to meet business requirements.Assessing the risk associated with proposed system changes and recommending important security-related controls and technologies.Providing specialist security advice and recommending approachesActing as a consultative function to ensure all solution designs adhere to standards and baselines, taking the lead in security-focused solution designs.Maintaining a view of the security architecture across our application, information and operational technology environmentEstablishing standards for security architecture and providing security architectural governance across all technology platforms throughout the organisation The Candidate Background in IT infrastructure and systems design / operations and knowledge of IT Security activities within the defence sector, other highly regulated environments or large organisations.Cyber security infrastructure technologies, including implementation and configuration.Conversant with security best practices (e.g., ISO27001 or NIST 800-53) and relevant security legislationExperience working with internal and external service providers to deliver IT systems in a regulated / accredited environment.
