The role will provide advice, monitoring and support across cyber security systems, incidents, assurance activity and information Key Responsibilities Provide advice and support on specialist IT security systems and new system assessments. Monitor security incidents and event queues within the ITSM system, advising customers or escalating where required. Support the development and implementation of information security plans, strategies, policies and procedures. Assist with the design and implementation of information security solutions. Research emerging internet threats and software vulnerabilities, summarising findings for senior security colleagues. Support investigations into security incidents and provide evidence for Information Governance groups where required. Help collect evidence for the Data Security and Protection Toolkit and other assurance activities.
