The role will involve detecting and responding to security threats, supporting vulnerability remediation across the estate, and helping ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.What this role involves: Develop, monitorand mature the SIEM solution. Support ongoing development and monitoring of IDS/IPS, detection and response solutionsand other threat detection systems. Analyseincidents and coordinate appropriate responses, including containment and escalation. Perform vulnerability scanning and assistwith remediation, tracking and reporting of vulnerabilities identified. Collaborate with infrastructure operations and technical services teams to implement secure configurations and secure the estate. Contribute to the development and maintenance of security policies, proceduresand controls. Help ensure compliance efforts are aligned to standards such as ISO 27001, GDPRand NIST. Conduct regular user awareness activities, including phishing simulations, trainingand internal initiatives to reduce human-factor risks. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving cyber threats, vulnerabilitiesand mitigation techniques.
