Cyber Security Analyst - 1 day a week on Site - Remote

We are partnering an Energy Data provider who are looking for a hands-on Cyber Security Analyst to join their internal IT and Security team during a pivotal period of change.My client operates a Monday to Thursday working week, with hybrid working in place and Fridays off.ResponsibilitiesOwn and run our vulnerability and patch management processesInvestigate and respond to security incidents (malware, phishing, unauthorised access, etc.)Conduct vulnerability assessments and support remediation effortsHelp implement and enforce security policies, standards, and proceduresPartner with IT colleagues and business units to ensure secure configurationsAct as a key escalation point for security investigationsMaximise the effectiveness of Microsoft Defender, Intune, and PurviewPromote cyber awareness and best practice across the organisationCollaborate with the Information Security Manager and Compliance Team on GRC activityStay ahead of emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trendsIdentify opportunities to improve security tooling, processes, and controlsSkills and Experience NeededMicrosoft 365 Defender/Security Microsoft Purview Proven hands-on experience remediating vulnerabilities and applying patches in a live environmentA strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and threat landscapesExperience with endpoint, network, and identity security within Microsoft ecosystems.Strong troubleshooting and analytical skillsEffective communication and collaboration across ..... full job details .....
