Cut and Crease Machine Minder

Our client is seeking a Cut and Crease Machine Minder for their site in Aylesford.

They work with many big brands National and International producing packaging for them.

They are seeking someone who has worked with autoplaten Cut and Crease Machines and will be capable of producing high quality work quickly and efficiently.

Main Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Make Ready and Run work as efficiently as possible whilst meeting safety, quality and productivity targets
• Complete all necessary administration including data entry onto the business IM systems 
• Repair/Amend all tooling and dies as necessary and where possible
• Identify any maintenance issues and resolve where possible, or communicate to appropriate personnel in line with departmental procedures
• Ensure quality checks are carried out as per company guidelines
• Responsible for ensuring the machines, tooling, auxillary equipment and working area are kept clean, safe and organised
• Advise Supervisor of any consumable stock requirements
• Utilisation of the appropriate equipment to assist with material preparation
• Responsible for assisting Department with Training needs for C&C Apprentices and C&C Assistants
• Any other duties as instructed by a member of the management team
• To comply with all business management system requirements
• To comply with all certification requirements

Details of work:

• Shift work 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm 10pm-6am Monday to Friday
• 40 minute paid break
• 40hrs per week
• You must have experience within a similar environment and have run Autopkaten Die Cutter Cut and Crease Machines.
• Good communication skills
