Customs Manager Retail Yorkshire 50k + benefits packageI am partnering with an established consumer brand based in North Yorkshire, who are looking for a Customs Manager to work in a brand new function for the business. This is a key role responsible for managing and developing the Group''s customs activity across their international supply chain. You will take ownership of customs compliance, import and export processes, holding relationships with key logistics partners, ensuring products move efficiently and compliantly across international markets.Hybrid role with 3 days in the office The RoleAs Customs Manager, you will be responsible for:Managing the end-to-end customs operation across the Group.Overseeing import and export customs processes and ensuring full regulatory compliance.Managing relationships with customs brokers, freight forwarders and other external partners.Ensuring accurate commodity codes, country of origin, customs valuations and supporting documentation.Monitoring duty and tax exposure and identifying opportunities to improve the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of international trade.Keeping the business up to date with changes to international customs legislation.Supporting the continued development of international trading and distribution processes.Working closely with Supply Chain, Finance, Buying, Warehousing and other key stakeholders.Reviewing and improving customs processes, controls and reporting.Supporting customs audits and ensuring ..... full job details .....
