Customs, Logistics and Operations Coordinator

We have an exciting opportunity for a Customs, Logistics and Operations Coordinator based in Milton Keynes for one of our clients on a Permanent full or part time basis. Summary of the Customs, Logistics and Operations Coordinator role Salary: £27,000 - £33,000 pro rata for full time hoursLocation: Milton Keynes , 100% office basedType of Contract: Permanent Hours: Monday - Friday full or part time hours (27.5 - 37.5 hours per week)Responsibilities of the Customs, Logistics and Operations Coordinator Prepare commercial invoices, packing lists and shipping documentationBook shipments using courier platformsCompare shipping optionsCoordinate collections and deliveries and track shipments proactively managing delays or issues Pack goods securely and appropriatelySelect suitable packaging materialsPrepare shipments and ensure all items are correctly labelled and documented Book in inbound goods accurately and maintain stock accuracyAssist with stock checks and periodic auditsReceive and inspect deliveries and report, document and escalate any damage or discrepanciesPick and prepare orders and update systems with dispatch and tracking information Requirements for a successful Customs, Logistics and Operations Coordinator Previous customs and logistics administration experience essentialExperience of creating commercial invoices essentialKnowledge of customs commodity codes essentialStrong attention to detail and accuracyFamiliar with courier booking systems and shipment ..... full job details .....
