This position will focus on managing a high volume of customs clearances across import and export shipments, ensuring all declarations are completed accurately and in line with current HMRC regulations.The role will primarily involve working with the Customs Declaration Service (CDS) and requires someone who is confident handling customs entries in a fast-paced freight forwarding environment.Key ResponsibilitiesComplete high volumes of import and export customs declarations using CDSEnsure all entries are compliant with the latest HMRC customs regulations and policiesLiaise with customers, internal operations teams, and customs authorities to resolve queriesCheck commercial documentation to ensure accurate customs entriesClassify goods correctly using commodity codes and apply the correct proceduresEnsure accurate application of Incoterms and understand their impact on customs declarationsMaintain accurate records and ensure compliance with customs ..... full job details .....
