Customs Clearance Coordinator

We are proud to be working in partnership with a well-established shipping company in Felixstowe who are looking to welcome a Customs Clearance Coordinator to expand their team. Key Duties:Liaise with customs authorities and regulatory bodies to facilitate timely clearance of goods.Monitor and manage clearance status for incoming and outgoing shipments.Work closely with internal departments to ensure efficient customs processes.Provide customers with updates and proactively manage delays, discrepancies or documentation queries.Prepare and submit customs documentation required for import and export clearances.Skills and Experience Required:Brilliant attention to detail and accuracy.Strong customer service skills.Minimum 1-2 years'' experience in Deep Sea and EU customs clearance.Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads Benefits: 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays.Monday to Friday: either 08:30 - 17:00 or 09:00 - 17:30.Free parking. ..... full job details .....
