Are you an experienced Customs Broker with a deep understanding of the Customs Declaration Service (CDS)? Do you thrive in a fast-paced freight forwarding environment where precision and compliance are key? If so, we want to hear from you!

My client is a leading international freight forwarder, known for delivering seamless logistics solutions across air, sea, and road. As we expand our operations, we're seeking a Customs Broker who can confidently handle CDS entries and play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and compliant movement of goods across borders.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete accurate and timely customs entries via CDS, including import/export declarations
• Liaise with HMRC, port authorities, and clients to resolve queries and ensure compliance
• Monitor and maintain customs records in line with UK/EU regulations
• Work closely with operations and warehouse teams to ensure goods are cleared efficiently
• Keep up to date with evolving customs regulations and tariff changes

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Customs Broker in a freight forwarding or logistics environment
• Strong knowledge of the Customs Declaration Service (CDS) and CHIEF system transition
• Familiarity with Incoterms, commodity codes, and duty/tax calculations
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
