Job Title: Customs Administrator
Location: Stafford Engine Facility (Onsite)

Role Purpose & Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive-Customs Administrator-to join our team at the Stafford Engine facility. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and compliant flow of parts and products across international borders. You will manage daily import and customs activities, working closely with freight forwarders and internal stakeholders to meet regulatory requirements and delivery schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliant import clearance in line with HMRC and company policies.
- Provide accurate and timely clearance instructions to customs brokers.
- Manage and verify import documentation, resolving discrepancies with stakeholders.
- Calculate customs duties and identify opportunities for duty savings.
- Maintain accurate records and logs to support audits.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Report non-compliance and escalate issues to the Customs Compliance Supervisor.
- Coordinate classification requests.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Self-sufficient and disciplined with a collaborative mindset.

- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communicator with solid administrative skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts).
- Able to troubleshoot IT issues with Helpdesk support.
Desirable:
- Experience in large, complex organisations.
- Familiarity with global trade and high-volume import/export operations.
- Understanding of Incoterms.
- Previous experience in customs, imports/exports, or working with CDS.
