What you’ll be doing as a Water Quality Technician: Collecting samples from treatment works, reservoirs and customer homes. You will have access to the equipment for testing in your van such as and bottles, thermometers. Overseeing the management of your sampling records and maintenance of sampling equipment, ensuring they’re kept to industry standards. Liaising with the technical scheduling team, CSWQ group, and regulatory and performance team to plan your workload and deliver the monitoring programme. Assisting with investigating supply issues or customer complaints if they arise.
