The RoleAs Customer Service Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for managing customer enquiries via telephone and email, ensuring queries are handled promptly and professionally. You’ll act as a key link between customers, production teams and flow leads, ensuring clear communication, smooth processes and excellent service at all times.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage and update internal systems, ensuring all customer information is accurate and up to date.
Communicate regularly with customers on production progress, answering queries and providing updates.
Work closely with the production team to plan work schedules, helping to meet or exceed customer deadlines.
Raise and administer purchase orders for subcontract operations.
Escalate and resolve issues where required, working collaboratively with flow managers.
Support meetings with customers and internal teams to ensure clear communication.
Build strong relationships across departments, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
A positive, customer-focused ‘can-do’ attitude.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong IT literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Experience in a customer service role within a manufacturing or production environment (desirable).
