Key Responsibilities for the Customer Service Agent role: Handle incoming customer enquiries by telephone, email and online platforms. Provide a high level of customer service and ensure enquiries are dealt with promptly and professionally. Listen carefully to customers, understand their needs and provide appropriate support and guidance. Handle complaints and challenging situations calmly and professionally. Aim to resolve customer queries at the first point of contact wherever possible. Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records. Follow company policies, procedures and customer service standards. Work closely with colleagues to ensure all daily customer service tasks are completed efficiently. Ideal Candidate for the Customer Service Agent role: Previous experience in a customer service, retail, hospitality, administration or similar role.
