Customer Support Advisor (Temp to Perm)
We're recruiting on behalf of our client for a Customer Support Advisor to join their busy and friendly customer service team in Coventry. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for someone who enjoys helping customers, solving problems, and delivering outstanding service.
Salary for this position will be starting at £29,000 working on a rota basis in a busy and friendly team. There is the requirement to be flexible, the company phone lines are open 7 days a week. Weekday shifts are between 7am and 7pm with weekends being typically 7am till 3pm which, once trained, are worked from home.

The Role
As a Customer Support Advisor, you'll be the first point of contact for customers, providing support with delivery and service enquiries. You'll play a key role in ensuring every customer receives a professional, efficient, and positive experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle customer enquiries in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner.
- Respond to enquiries relating to deliveries and services.
- Accurately log and categorise customer interactions using internal systems.
- Complete customer verification and security checks.
- Triage customer queries and escalate complex issues to the Customer Support Specialist team where appropriate.
- Take ownership of customer queries through to resolution.
- Work towards individual and team KPI targets.
- Attend team meetings and training sessions, contributing positively to the team.
- Promote and demonstrate the company's core values.
- Be flexible and support the wider team with additional tasks as required by management.
We're looking for someone who has:
- Proven experience in a customer support or customer service role, or experience as a Client Service Representative.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A customer-focused approach with the ability to adapt your communication style to suit different customers.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritise workloads, and manage time effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good computer literacy, including experience using Microsoft Office applications.
- A professional, flexible, driven, and positive attitude.
- The ability to remain organised and self-disciplined while working under pressure.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
