Customer Service Advisor Dunstable (Office Based)Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (30-minute break) 13.23 per hourTemporary to Permanent OpportunityThe Role:We are currently recruiting for a Motor Claims Handler to join a busy and supportive team based in Dunstable. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills and attention to detail who is looking to secure a long-term position.You will be responsible for managing motor claims from initial report through to settlement, ensuring a cost-effective and timely resolution.Key Responsibilities:Liaising with third parties, solicitors, drivers and insurers via phone, email and written correspondenceTaking accident details from the scene and accurately logging claimsUploading and managing claims on internal systemsAuthorising repairs for third party vehiclesRaising and processing payments related to claimsManaging incoming post, including cheques, in line with internal proceduresChasing third party insurers for updates and outstanding costsFollowing up with drivers for accident report forms and supporting evidence (e.g. photos)Identifying and escalating potentially fraudulent claimsInvestigating unreported claimsManaging workload to ensure timely and cost-effective claim resolutionSupporting general administration tasks, including scanning and file managementPlease note that no terminology in this advert is intended to discriminate on the grounds of a person''s gender, marital status, race, ..... full job details .....
