Customer Service Advisor

We are working on behalf of a leading Engineering company based on the outskirts of Colchester who are looking for a Customer Service Advisor to join the team. You will be responsible for receiving and processing order, enquires and general information in a timely and considerate manner. Key Duties: Handle customer calls, enquiries, product information and lead times. Process orders, proforma invoices and customer quotations. Update and amend orders as required. Maintain accurate customer and company documentation. Support Area Sales Managers with administrative requirements. Arrange couriers and carriers for customer deliveries. Assist with general office administration. Make proactive outbound calls to customers and follow up enquiries. Previous Skills and Experience: Previous experience in customer service administration within a professional office environment. Experience within an export environment would be advantageous. Professional and confident telephone manner, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. Strong attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy in all areas of work. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience using internal business systems. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise workload and meet deadlines effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Good understanding of data protection requirements, with the ability to follow company policies and procedures. ..... full job details .....
