Customer Service Advisor

We are working on behalf of a leading Engineering company based on the outskirts of Colchester who are looking for a Customer Service Advisor to join the team. You will be responsible for receiving and processing order, enquires and general information in a timely and considerate manner.

Key Duties:

• Handle customer calls, enquiries, product information and lead times.

• Process orders, proforma invoices and customer quotations.
• Update and amend orders as required.
• Maintain accurate customer and company documentation.
• Support Area Sales Managers with administrative requirements.
• Arrange couriers and carriers for customer deliveries.
• Assist with general office administration.
• Make proactive outbound calls to customers and follow up enquiries.

Previous Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience in customer service administration within a professional office environment.
• Experience within an export environment would be advantageous.
• Professional and confident telephone manner, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Strong attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy in all areas of work.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience using internal business systems.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise workload and meet deadlines effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good understanding of data protection requirements, with the ability to follow company policies and procedures.
