Role: Customer Service Advisor (Face-to-Face)
Location: Edinburgh – SouthWest Locality Office
Hours: Monday to Friday – 36 hours per week
Pay Rate: £14.51 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Temporary ongoing

As a Face-to-Face Customer Service Advisor, you’ll be the first point of contact for residents visiting the office—supporting them with enquiries, appointments, and essential services. If you enjoy working with people and making a real difference day-to-day, this role is for you.
What You’ll Be Doing

• Welcoming customers and providing a friendly, professional first impression

• Supporting visitors with enquiries and guiding them to the right services

• Managing appointments, including check-ins and issuing tickets

• Taking payments and processing service requests accurately

• Updating customer information on internal systems

• Working closely with colleagues to ensure smooth service delivery

• Handling enquiries with care, efficiency, and a strong customer focus

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• A calm, patient and empathetic approach

• Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask

• Confidence using IT systems and handling customer information accurately
