Customer Service Advisor - Telephone-Based
Location: BD6, Bradford
Hours: Full-time - 8-hour shifts between 7am and 7pm, Monday to Friday
Start Date: Immediate / October
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
I am currently representing a well-regarded client in the BD6 area of Bradford who is looking to appoint a confident and reliable Customer Service Advisor to join their busy contact team. This is a fantastic long-term opportunity for the right individual, with a permanent position available following a successful temporary period.
Please note: This is a full-time, ongoing role and not suitable for short-term or stop-gap candidates.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for delivering a high standard of service over the telephone, handling a variety of customer enquiries in a professional, efficient, and friendly manner. Working within a supportive and well-structured team, you will play a key role in maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring queries are resolved accurately and promptly.
Key Responsibilities:
Handling incoming calls from customers with professionalism and confidence
Accurately logging and updating customer records using internal systems
Providing clear information and resolving enquiries within agreed timeframes
Managing your time effectively to meet call targets and response deadlines
Working collaboratively with colleagues across departments
Essential Skills and Attributes:
Confident telephone manner
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong time management and organisational ability
High attention to detail and accuracy
IT literate - confident with basic computer systems and software
Desirable:
Previous experience in a customer service role (telephone-based preferred)
Familiarity with CRM systems or similar database tools
