We are hiring a Customer Partner to join our growing customer service and support team in Cambourne. This hybrid customer-facing role combines call handling, technical support, and service coordination, playing a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound customer calls, emails, and service requests
- Schedule field service engineer visits and coordinate appointments
- Provide internal support to field and office teams
- Manage and resolve customer complaints in a professional manner
- Use CRM systems to log service cases and capture sales leads
- Provide technical assistance and triage service issues
- Check stock availability and pricing for products and consumables
- Maintain and update accurate customer data records
- Process orders for spare parts and consumables
- Make follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction after service visits
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery
Essential Skills andamp; Experience
- Previous experience in a customer service, customer support, or call centre role
- Confident with inbound call handling and managing service requests
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to explain technical issues clearly and professionally
- Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP - preferred)
- Comfortable working to KPIs and service level agreements (SLAs)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Proactive and flexible team player willing to support beyond core duties
