We’re looking for a hands-on customer marketer to help us engage, educate and retain our customers through standout lifecycle campaigns. Most people know they should engage with their finances – but don’t. So breaking through takes creative thinking, lots of experimentation and a deep understanding of what really motivates people to act.In this role, you’ll obsess over how to engage our Investing customers in ways that feel helpful, timely and human. You’ll need to understand our category, but also be bold enough to do things differently. What you’ll doPlan, write, deliver and optimise lifecycle campaigns across key customer segments and stagesDevelop creative strategies to overcome customer inertia – testing different messages, moments, formats and behavioursConstantly seek new ways to surprise, motivate or reframe – drawing from behavioural science, customer insight and experimentationCollaborate with the CRM Ops Manager to build and launch campaigns in Customer.ioWork with subject matter experts to deliver timely, relevant financial education – tailored to each customer segment and lifecycle stageWork hand in hand with our Brand and Creative teams to make sure every CRM campaign not only performs but looks and feels unmistakably OctopusEnsure all messages meet regulatory and quality standardsWhat you’ll bring6+ years of experience in CRM or lifecycle marketing – ideally in low-engagement, regulated categories (financial services, insurance, pensions, etc.)Strong campaign planning and copywriting skills – able to write clear, concise, high-performing CRM messagesA test-and-learn mindset – you’re not afraid to try things, learn fast, and try againExperience designing customer journeys and automations, even if someone else builds themExperience using customer data and behaviour to define next-best-action strategies that drive engagement and conversionConfident working with data to inform segmentation, targeting and testing planA passion for improving financial wellbeing and making advice feel more accessible and humanIn return for your contribution, we offer a base salary of £60,000 - £70,000 DOE + benefits.Please note, as a regulated business we are required to run background checks for all employees which covers adverse financial and unspent convictions. These will only take place upon a successful job offer.
