Customer and Production Coordinator
Based: North AyrshireThis role sits at the centre of customer activity and production planning, coordinating projects from initial enquiry through to order entry and delivery. You will act as the key link between customers, sales, supply chain and the production plant, ensuring clear communication and smooth delivery.It is a varied role that suits someone who enjoys ownership, problem solving and being the main point of contact for both customers and internal teams. We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive, and enjoys working across teams.The roleManage customer projects from request for quotation through to order set upCoordinate introduction of new products across internal teamsGather costs and specifications, prepare cost matrices and support approval processEnsure quotations are accurate, complete and issued within agreed timescalesClearly identify customer requirements and communicate these internallyProvide commercial administration support across enquiries, offers and order processingSupport price updates and revisionsPrepare and maintain customer and internal reportsTrack sales performance against forecastsCoordinate samples and product information for customersSupport stock inventory management including excess and obsolete stock reportingAssist finance team with credit control, liaising with customers to resolve issueAct as the main point of contact for existing and new customersManage communication around production plans, lead times and delivery ..... full job details .....
