You''ll supervise the day-to-day running of a busy cultural venue, making sure visitors, performers and staff have a safe and enjoyable experience. What you''ll be doing:Supervising the venue during opening hours, events and performancesOpening and closing the building, including security and keyholdingLeading front-of-house staff and volunteers on shiftGiving visitors, audiences and hirers a warm, professional welcomeHandling cash, card payments and end-of-shift balancingCarrying out health and safety checks and dealing with incidents or emergenciesSupporting the setup and running of events, exhibitions and performances What you''ll need:Experience in a supervisory or duty manager roleStrong customer service experience, ideally in an arts, events, leisure or hospitality venueExperience of cash handlingGood awareness of health and safetyConfidence handling problems and making decisions on shiftFlexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed What''s on offer: 14.07 per hour, paid weeklyFlexible, casual hours that can fit around other commitmentsHoliday pay accrued in line ..... full job details .....
