CTO / Senior Engineering Leader Remote-first, UK-based PE-backed B2B SaaS business A growing B2B SaaS company is looking for a senior technology leader to take ownership of its engineering function and help shape the next stage of its technical growth. The business has a well-established cloud-based software platform used by organisations to manage complex operational, governance and business-critical processes. It is a product-led company with strong market demand, private equity backing and ambitious plans for continued growth. This is a key leadership role for someone who combines strong technical credibility with the ability to lead, coach and develop a capable engineering team. The Role You will lead a distributed engineering team of around 15 people, working closely with Product and the senior leadership team to improve delivery, shape technical direction and support the continued scaling of the platform. This is not a hands-off, corporate technology leadership role. The business needs someone who is close enough to engineering to understand the detail, challenge technical decisions, support architectural direction and help the team improve how they build software. You will not be expected to code day to day, but you should still enjoy technology, understand modern software engineering deeply and be able to command credibility with experienced developers.
