      <description>Location: Burton upon Trent | Salary: &amp;pound;350 - &amp;pound;400/day | Type: Contract | Job Title:  CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector – Process Pipework  Location:  Burton area     Job Summary:  We are looking for a certified CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector to support quality assurance activities on process pipework projects. The role involves visual inspection of welds to ASME and BS EN standards, borescope examination of internal welds, and oversight of welder qualifications and documentation.   Key Responsibilities:   	 Perform visual welding inspections on process pipework in accordance with ASME and BS EN standards. 	 Conduct borescope inspections to assess internal weld quality and integrity. 	 Verify and maintain welder qualifications and ensure compliance with project specifications. 	 Prepare and manage inspection reports, welding records, and traceability documentation. 	 Collaborate with welding teams and quality personnel to resolve non-conformances. 	 Support continuous improvement and ensure adherence to safety and quality procedures.    Qualifications &amp; Experience:   	 Valid CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector certification.
