Cscs Labourer

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking CSCS Labourer to join our team on-site. Initially you will have to start at a site in Berwick for 1-2 weeks then the rest of the assignment will be at Wooler (approx 10month). The ideal candidate will possess a valid CSCS card and demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. This role is essential for supporting various construction activities and ensuring that projects run smoothly and efficiently.

Duties

• Assist in the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris and ensuring the area is safe for work.
• Carry out general labouring tasks as directed by site supervisors or foremen.
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment as required.
• Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Operate basic machinery and tools when necessary, adhering to safety protocols.
• Support skilled tradespeople with their tasks, providing assistance as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area throughout the day.

Experience

• Previous experience in a labouring role within the construction industry is advantageous but not essential.
• A valid CSCS card is required to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on site.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
• Strong communication skills to effectively follow instructions from supervisors.
• Physical fitness to perform manual handling tasks and endure long hours on-site.
