Cryptography Analyst - Contract 350/day Inside IR35 2 Days Onsite (Knutsford) Financial Services - Banking Exp Preferred - SC Clearence or cleareable.We''re seeking a highly skilled Cryptographic Infrastructure Engineer with deep hands-on experience in Hardware Security Module (HSM) management and cryptographic operations to join a leading financial services organisation.This is a contract role offering 350/day (Inside IR35), with a hybrid working model requiring 2 days per week onsite in Knutsford.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and configure HSMs (Thales, Entrust, Gemalto or similar)Monitor HSM health using appropriate toolsAutomate cryptographic processes using Python or other scripting languagesSSH key and certificate lifecycle managementGenerate key components across IBM, Tandem, Unix platformsSupport incident, change, and problem management (ITIL-aligned)Maintain accurate documentation and audit trailsCollaborate with stakeholders across security, infrastructure, and operations teamsEssential SkillsRecent hands-on experience with HSMs (Thales, Entrust, Gemalto)Proficiency in HSM monitoring toolsStrong automation and scripting skills (Python preferred)Cryptography / Information Security backgroundITIL Foundation certificationBachelor''s degree in Computer Science or related fieldExcellent stakeholder management and documentation skillsDesirable SkillsExperience in operational IT security rolesFamiliarity with SharePoint, Confluence, JIRAUnix/Windows OS knowledgeExperience ..... full job details .....
