This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Critical Care nurse who is ready to take the next step in their leadership career, with responsibility for leading our Critical Care Unit and developing a team committed to delivering exceptional patient care.What you''ll be doingAs Critical Care Manager, you''ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Critical Care Unit, providing strong clinical leadership and ensuring we continue to deliver safe, effective and compassionate care.Your key responsibilities will include:Leading, supporting and developing the Critical Care team, acting as a visible and approachable clinical leader.Managing staffing, rotas and workforce planning to ensure safe staffing levels, appropriate skill mix and service capacity.Maintaining high standards of clinical care, patient safety and infection prevention and control.Supporting the education, training and competency development of Critical Care and wider clinical teams.Providing Critical Care Outreach support to other areas of the hospital when required, including supporting the safe step-down of patients to the ward environment.Working closely with the Director and Deputy Director of Clinical Services and wider senior leadership team to develop and improve the ..... full job details .....
