Mind BLMK works across our communities to support positive mental health and wellbeing. Working closely with a range of partners, we offer a number of activities from our wellbeing centres and local venues to make a difference to the mental health and wellbeing of people in Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes, and our aim is to make sure that no-one has to face a mental health problem alone. Crisis Recovery Worker Post no: 670 Salary: £24,811.13 per annum FTE (£8,214.50 actual per annum for 2 shifts per week) Location: Milton Keynes Hours: 12.25 hours per week Working pattern: 2 x 6-hour shifts per week (Varied across 7-days) 5:00pm to 11:00pm, evenings and/or weekends (Pattern to be agreed) Contract: Permanent About our Community Crisis Cafés Our Community Crisis Cafes offer a safe, welcoming and non-judgmental environment outside of normal working hours for those who feel in mental distress or crisis. About the Role This will involve working with service users in a preventative way, assessing needs, deescalating crisis, offering coping strategies, signposting to other services and ensuring they feel supported, through the process of improving their mental health and wellbeing. Staff will work with a team of Crisis Recovery Workers.
