With a large and experienced team of criminal defence lawyers, the firm provides support, training and exposure to a broad range of matters, including police station work, Magistrates'' Court proceedings and Crown Court cases.The successful candidate will manage their own caseload with supervision, assist senior lawyers on more complex matters and build strong client relationships from the outset.The role will involve:Handling a varied caseload of criminal defence mattersAdvising clients at all stages of the criminal justice processAttending police stations and Magistrates'' Court where appropriatePreparing cases for hearings, trials and conferences with counselLiaising with clients, courts, experts and external agenciesSupporting senior solicitors on serious and complex criminal casesThe ideal candidate will have:Recently qualified as a solicitor in England and WalesA training seat or strong paralegal background in criminal defenceA genuine commitment to criminal lawStrong advocacy, drafting and client care skillsThe ability to work well within a busy, ..... full job details .....
