They are seeking a skilled and experienced Crime Solicitor (4–5 PQE) to join a dynamic, high-performing team, managing a diverse and challenging caseload involving serious criminal matters.

About the Role

You will work on some of the nation’s most high-profile cases, upholding the firm’s ethos: to provide the best possible service to all clients, from protesters to murder suspects, shoplifters to city traders. Whatever the accusation, you will ensure clients are treated fairly and provided with a robust defence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct advocacy in Magistrates’ and Crown Courts.
  • Manage client relationships and provide guidance throughout the legal process.
  • Mentor and support junior solicitors and trainees.
  • Handle a high-volume, complex caseload with professionalism and discretion.

Candidate Requirements

  • 4–5 years PQE in criminal law.
  • Proven experience handling serious criminal cases.
  • Excellent advocacy, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload effectively.
  • Experience representing clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Commitment to social justice and the firm’s ethos.
  • Police Station Accreditation and Duty Status preferred.
  • Adaptable, collaborative, and able to thrive in a supportive team environment.
