Meaningful 2nd Line credit authority £1m-£35m specialist lending exposure Hybrid working Influence credit policy and portfolio risk If you''re an experienced Underwriter - Specialist Mortgages and Bridging Finance looking to move beyond transactional underwriting, this role gives you genuine credit authority within a 2nd Line Credit Risk function. You''ll assess and sanction specialist property lending proposals typically ranging from £1m to £35m. Alongside individual credit decisions, you''ll gain broader exposure to portfolio reviews, credit policy and lending assurance, working closely with senior Credit Risk stakeholders and Credit Committee. Package and Benefits • Salary of £65,000-£70,000 per annum. • Hybrid working, with a minimum 50% of each month based in the head office. • Monday to Friday working hours, typically 9am-5.30pm.
